Webfitters Named Recipient of 2023 Web Excellence Award
Webfitters, a 20+ year-old website development and digital marketing agency based in Green Bay, has been named a recipient of the 2023 Web Excellence Awards under the category of Website / Entertainment and Performing Arts for their work on the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center website design and development.
The WE-Awards recognizes distinguished websites, web marketing projects, videos, mobile sites/apps and social media campaigns from creators around the world.
The 9th annual WE-Awards saw over 1,350 entries from more than 38 US States and 29 countries including Australia, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Switzerland, India, Ireland, and Germany.
Webfitters worked with the Fox Cities PAC to build a website that captivates viewers like the performances gracing their stage. This was achieved through thoughtful design, eye-catching visuals, and integrated features. Ticketmaster and Toast integrations streamline ticket purchases and food ordering while the AudioEye integration adjusts the display of the website for users with disabilities.
Custom-built, 360-degree image seating charts allow users to select a section of the theater and explore their view from that area before purchasing tickets.
This is Webfitter’s fifth time as a recipient of the Web Excellence Awards. They won previous awards in website design and development for Menn Law, Dean Distributing, Bug Tussel, and their own website, Webfitters.
“This was a really fun project but a challenge in a lot of ways. We were responsible for making the site look exciting and engaging yet fully compliant on quite a few levels. There was also a level of complexity in event listings, seating charts, and other areas that really challenged our entire team. In the end though, I think everything turned out really well,” said Webfitters’ Project Manager Greg Waters. “We’re proud to be partnered up with such a great organization.”
