Webfitters Launches New Site for InterSector
Challenge
InterSector is a not-for-profit organization created by J.J. Keller Foundation with the mission to help other nonprofits increase their capacity.
InterSector brings in leaders with skills such as HR, finance, IT, marketing or the law, and connects them with area nonprofits who could benefit from their skills to better deliver on their missions.
InterSector had previously had a landing page within the J.J. Keller website, but wanted to have their own presence, and space to reach a wider audience.
Solution
Webfitters worked with Lisa Strandberg at InterSector to create an online strategy. We designed and built a professional website that inspires area business/community leaders to get involved and help drive social impact in their communities by volunteering their time and skills.
The website showcases InterSector’s people, their stories, and how they’ve been able to help make a difference and share the missions of other nonprofits. It also features a variety of forms that volunteers can fill out depending on their skillset and availability.
This makes getting started as a volunteer simple and quick. The calls-to-action across the site help potential volunteers feel how their contribution could have an impact. Finally, the site features a news section called “The Sector” to showcase the latest happenings and stories coming from the work being done at InterSector.

We’re proud of our partnership with InterSector and look forward to guiding them through their online marketing journey for years to come.
