St. Norbert’s Heather Butterfield to Serve as Chair of CUPA-HR Midwest Region

Heather Butterfield, assistant vice president for human resources at St. Norbert College has been selected to serve as chair of the Midwest Region Board of Directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) for the 2024-25 fiscal year. Her term began on July 1st.

CUPA-HR is a higher ed HR that serves higher education by providing the knowledge, resources, advocacy and connections to achieve organizational and workforce excellence. The association offers learning and professional development programs, higher education salary, benefits and demographic data, extensive online resources and just-in-time regulatory and legislative information.

Butterfield has been the assistant vice president for human resources at St. Norbert College for three and a half years. She has served on CUPA-HR’s Midwest Region board for two years. Before that, Butterfield was an active CUPA-HR Wisconsin Chapter Board of Directors member for four years, including a term as president. She has also been a member of the association’s Research Advisory Committee and was selected to participate in the 2017-18 Ignite program cohort (formerly Wildfire).
