Even though the summer is coming to a close, there’s still plenty to do at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park!
Snow Leopard Den Tours are Coming
Starting this Saturday, Snow Leopard Den Tours will be available at 10:30 a.m. on select dates!
These limited tours will take guests behind-the-scenes into the Lee & Kathy Anderson Snow Leopard Den to get an inside look at how they care for Bodhi and Ahava, and to learn more about the cats. Tickets are $80 for a small group of up to six people. Zoo Members will receive a discount. Just one group ticket is available per day – so reserve your spot now!

Labor Day Activities
The NEW Zoo, the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour, and the Adventure Park will all be open for regular hours all holiday weekend long, including on Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day.
While you are here, stop at the Riley Building (by the moose habitat) to see their newest resident: a female Blanding’s Turtle!
Poetry Contest for Kids
In case you missed it: The staff of the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is excited to announce the return of the Kids’ Animal Poetry Contest, hosted in partnership with the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets.
Kids ages 5 to 10 are invited to write a poem about any NEW Zoo animal, be it a zoo species or favorite individual! Winners in each of two age categories will receive $25 and a customized picture poem for display.
