Green Bay Metro Fire Department Joins Forces with Lifeguards for Summer Preparedness

Summer in Green Bay is in full swing! The Green Bay Metro Fire Department and the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry are partnering to ensure a safe pool season.

On June 21st, Joannes Aquatic Center conducted a mock training scenario involving a lifeguard rescue, patient handling, and transfer of care to EMS. 

The goal of this training was to strengthen the relationship between the two departments and to fulfill the overall mission of saving and protecting lives.
