On October 10th, Cruisers Yachts proudly joined MarineMax and the American Cancer Society in their annual Power of Pink Day, a nationwide initiative dedicated to raising awareness to raising awareness about breast cancer and promoting the importance of regular screenings.
“As a community, we are committed to raising awareness about breast cancer and the lifesaving power of early detection. Wearing pink is a symbol of solidarity, but it’s also a reminder of the critical need for regular screenings,” said Mark Pedersen, President of Cruisers Yachts. “This is especially important for boaters, who often spend long hours in the sun, which can increase the risk of certain cancers. Early detection saves lives, and we want to encourage everyone, particularly those with high exposure to the sun, to prioritize their health by scheduling regular screenings.”
Team members at Cruisers Yachts participated in the #PinkWithAPurpose campaign, wearing vibrant pink outfits to spark conversations about breast cancer awareness, highlight the importance of screenings, and encourage those who have yet to be screened to take action. Research shows that early detection significantly increases survival rates, and Cruisers Yachts remains steadfast in its commitment to the health and well-being of its team members and customers.
