Brown County Library’s “Amnesty Week” Offers “Fine Forgiveness”

At one time or another, it’s likely we are all guilty of it – library materials that we forgot to return on time or at all. Knowing life happens, Brown County Library is offering fine forgiveness during the week of December 7th-12th, 2020.

Whether overdue library items are few days late or a few years late, fines for items returned during Amnesty Week will be waived.

Items returned must be in good, usable condition. As a convenience, items can be returned to an outdoor bookdrop. Fine forgiveness applies only to items returned from December 7th–12th, and does not apply to existing fines or items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan.
