British Garrison, 1761: Preparing for Winter

Join us Friday and Saturday, Nov 12 and 13, for a free event with the Redcoats in Green Bay!

The fur trade area of Heritage Hill will be alive with colonial era soldiers and their families prepping themselves for the harsh winter season in “La Baye.” See their skills and trades, and immerse yourself in their centuries old daily life.

This event is free, however a donation of $5/person or $20/family is encouraged to keep Heritage Hill’s mission alive and support programming such as this. A donation tank is located at the entrance to the Park, or you may make donations online, here.

Also on Saturday, Nov 13th at 10 am, there will be a wreath laying ceremony at our Tomb Of the Unknown Soldier at the top of the hill. Learn more about this event here.
