Greater Green Bay Habitat For Humanity News Updates
The City of Green Bay will be lighting the bridges blue and green on Monday, October 4th, on honor of World Habitat Day!
Every year, World Habitat Day is celebrated on the first Monday in October. On this day, Habitat for Humanity joins the United Nations and organizations from around the world in raising awareness for affordable housing, and educating, mobilizing, motivating individuals and communities to take action on the global housing crisis.
A decent place to live can help break down barriers and open opportunities for strength, stability, success, and self-reliance through shelter, improve health, and make meaningful impact on a family’s life for years, if not generations!
