GREENSBORO, N.C. – Former Green Bay Phoenix Golfer George Kneiser is about to do something that’s never been done before. He will officially become the first GB golf alum (2016-2020) to start on the PGA Tour this weekend when he makes his debut at the Wyndham Championships in North Carolina.

Kneiser shot four-under-par 32 on the inward nine during Monday’s open qualifying (Aug 5th), finished with a six-under 65, and shared low honors with Cooper Musselman, a former University of Kentucky golfer.

I was in the fairway a good amount and just trying to hit greens and see if I couldn’t get some putts to drop.”

“It felt really good once I knew I was in,” he continued. “It’s a good sign of confirmation that I’m doing the right things, my hard work is starting to translate to results and my game is trending in the right direction!”

26-year-old George Kneiser has never made a TOUR start, until now…
